Short tutorial on why you need to mark those emails as spam. 1 They scrape your company email address via automation, so there's nothing personal about it 2 Even if the publication is well-known, nobody will notice the sub-sub-page where your ''exclusive interview'' will appear 3 The Domain Authority of the website does not reflect on your content, if the page authority which embeds your content is zero 4 This is just a scam, with which traditional media try to cash on their (fading) reputation 5 If you don't believe me, ask them to send you an example of ''sponsored content'' and check it on Semrush (see image) In this example, they proposed me a page on a website with 20millions monthly visits. The problem is that we would have appeared on a kind of sub-page with an average 18 monthly visits. Moral of the story: - there's no shortcut to people's attention - you have to provide them with value, not advertising - the good news is that it's easier to ask your (potential) customers how you can help them, rather than ask a shady media company to buy clients for you

It can take some time to build trust, relations and business. (I've been there) 1. Sales cycles can be long in B2B SaaS. (with us, it's between 2-6 months) So really start selling before the product is finished. 2. All our sales came via small referrals or had seen us around with people they trust. You have to build that trust ASAP. 3. *Godfather voice* We made an offer they can't refuse. (Jolt effect) If there isn't an offer.. What can they agree to? 4. Our pricing isn't perfect, but just start selling and improve it along the way. 5. Be genuinely interested in your champion within the company and in helping him/her. 6. Be open and transparent. If you want to get a honest reaction, say something honest. "Look I am going to be totally transparent, *insert our intention* and then ask for their intentions. Being honest builds trust. That could be the headline for the summary about an inspiring evening organised Monday evening by our Vlerick Digital Transformation Club: “AI as a Growth Catalyst: Strategies for Revenue Expansion.” Lots of take aways, just picking up a some: - Start small and make an impact: Start with a small step that can make an immediate difference. Focus on concrete goals and avoid an overly broad approach. - Address "cold start" issues: Determine which tools will work best, but make sure you understand the business problem well first. - Love experimentation: Everyone should experiment with AI, even if it is not happening everywhere yet. - Importance of mindset: The right mindset in the company can create a positive dynamic, leading to faster adoption and growth. - Coalition of the willing: Start with the people who are motivated, and let them decide on the first AI use cases. - Think disruptively: When your business is disrupted by technology, think about how you can become the disruptor yourself. - Find passion in work: AI can help make people passionate about their work again - Importance of explainability: It is essential that AI systems can explain why certain decisions were made. I’ll reveal one of the biggest mistakes every entrepreneur makes. Well, maybe not every entrepreneur but at least 95%... And the most crazy thing is that you already know this is a mistake. I’ll share the biggest key to getting rid of this problem and making your business skyrocket. But first, let me explain the mistake. It’s about focus… When people start out in the world of business they often run into the shiny object syndrome. This is where you switch between projects/opportunities a lot and don’t manage to get 1 thing off the ground because of the lack of focus and dedication. But then later, when finally getting the first results by focussing on one thing everybody makes the same mistake again. Inside of your business there’s a ton of opportunities, you currently have more than 10 different great ways to grow your business. But if you don’t choose one and stick to it until it’s successful you’ll get stuck. Big chance that’s what’s currently happening for you. So then what is my big secret to solve this? Well, you might not expect this from me because I’m not a little 12 year old girl but… Journaling is how you fix this. By writing you can get your thoughts in order and think clearly, this is an excellent way of staying rational and keeping a good overview of what’s going on. You can have conversations with yourself just by using pen and paper. Here are some questions I like to answer using my pen and paper for direction and focus in business and in life:            ⁉️ Which 20% of my actions today lead to 80% of the results?            ⁉️ What have I learned today?            ⁉️ What would I have done differently today if I got a second chance?            ⁉️ What advice would I give to someone else in my situation?            ⁉️ Where / or to whom do I need to start saying "no"?
